Jj Spirit donates to Miss Creole pageant |21 October 2010

This was during a cheque presentation by the foundation to the organisers of the Miss Creole des Iles beauty pageant to be held tomorrow.

Eddie Charles, executive director of the Jj Spirit Foundation, said the organisation will stay committed to helping young people as this forms part of its three principles – responsibility, resilience and realism.

The cheque for R15,000 was handed over to Emmanuel D’Offay, an organiser of the event, at the foundation’s office in Oceangate House.

Mr D’Offay thanked Jj Spirit for its contribution, which he said will be of great help to the event, and he looks forward to continuing support from the organisation for such activities.

The pageant will be held at Le Méridien Barbarons hotel with a group of 15 girls from Praslin and Mahe taking part.
