Badminton-Nine-player squad for China camp |07 March 2011

Juliette Ah-Wan, Jessie Mancienne, Shirley Etienne, Alisen Camille, Cynthia Course, Georgie Cupidon, Steve Malcouzane, Nicholas Jumaye and Kervin Ghislain are the nine shuttlers who will follow a month-long training camp in China.

Accompanied by coach Calix Francourt, they are expected back on April 18.

Most of the players will, two weeks later, make the team for the African Senior Badminton Championship scheduled for May 5-10 in Morocco.

The same players will then take part in the Morocco Open tournament from May 12-15.

It is expected that the players will take the training camp seriously and play hard in the African Senior Badminton Championship and the Morocco Open to be in the right frame of mind for the 8th Indian Ocean Island Games here slated for August 5-14.
