Seychelles launches new trade fair display |12 March 2011
The backdrop of the new Seychelles stand shows one of the beautiful white sandy beaches of the islands with its clear turquoise-blue sea.
“Both the perfect white sandy beaches and the clear and clean turquoise-blue sea are unique selling points of Seychelles,” said STB chief executive Alain St Ange.
It was said at the ITB that the new stand is refreshing, bright and welcoming. The light-coloured seat covers offer a more relaxed atmosphere for the partners to hold meetings and discussions, and this also reflects the effortlessness of the business environment the islands offer.
The open-plan concept allows for hassle-free movement around the stand, and at the same time the privacy required for meetings to be held.
The new design serves to reinforce the invigorating approach that the STB has taken in its style of marketing the destination. It is very much an open-plan concept that brings to life the space so badly needed at trade fairs.
The STB was represented in Berlin by Mr St Ange, European director Bernadette Willemin, deputy chief executive Elsia Grandcourt and regional marketing manager for Germany Edith Hunzinger.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Jean-Paul Adam visited the Seychelles stand in between meetings he was attending in Germany.
