April school holidays extended by one week |25 April 2011

The re-opening of school for the second term will now be Monday May 23, 2011.

This change is in light of the presidential election scheduled for May 19-21, 2011.

Since schools will be used as polling stations in certain districts, the electoral commission would like to have full access to the schools’ facilities a few days before the election.

Parents are however informed that the August holiday will be shortened by one week.

For the second term students will break for holiday on Friday August 5, 2011 and resume on Monday August 29, 2011.
