Turn your mobile into an ewallet with Cable & Wireless! |01 July 2011
Introduced to the market in May 2011, the service allows customers to purchase Prepaid Broadband vouchers from their mobile phone anytime, anywhere.
Since the introduction of the popular Prepaid Broadband internet service in September 2010, customers have only been able to purchase recharge vouchers at CWS Customer Services Centres or designated on-site agents, hence restricting flexibility in recharging their account.
With eVoucher, this is no longer the case. Customer Experience being high on the company’s agenda, the service will bring about more benefits namely:
• Making Prepaid-Broadband vouchers easily accessible to customers
• Paving the way for other types of voucher sales via mobile e-top up.
Customers only have to dial #145# from their mobile handset and follow the easy on-screen prompts to select the required option. For security reason a user will have to register to the service before being able to purchase Prepaid Broadband eVouchers i.e. 200MB, 450MB or 1000MB. The eVoucher information will be sent to customers’ mobile via SMS for them to recharge their Prepaid Broadband account on the captive portal –

Cable Prepaid Mobile customers should be aware that eVoucher purchases can ONLY be performed through their main balance and not from bonus balance. Post-paid mobile customers can also use the service and eVoucher transactions will be included in their monthly bill.
“The eVoucher service does not only bring flexibility in account recharging to customers but also the reduction of paper-based services by electronic means, hence shows our commitment towards the environment well-being of Seychelles –the way for responsible corporate citizenship,” stated Charles Hammond, chief executive of CWS.
He further said the company has moved to higher gear in investment and product development, with the sole aim of enhancing customers’ experiences. Customers are being encouraged to keep the SMS messages related to their eVoucher transactions until they have recharged their Prepaid broadband account.
