President Michel congratulates Chinese Communist Party on 90th anniversary milestone |02 July 2011

On behalf of the people and government of Seychelles, and as leader of Parti Lepep, President Michel extended his heartfelt congratulations and praise for China’s progress, describing the milestone as a remarkable achievement to be admired by all.

“As visionary leaders who are guided by the principles of people-centred development, we share the same ideals and values that ensure the wellbeing of our citizens,” said the President.

“The magnificent organisational structure of the Chinese Communist Party is a testament to the fact that China is the fastest growing economy and the future premier economic power.”

The President concluded by thanking the Chinese government for its generous support to Seychelles and for the outstanding relationship the two countries have fostered and which continues to bear fruit.
