Athletics-Lou Toy and Henriette at worlds |23 August 2011
Accompanied by coach Joseph Adam, Lou Toy and Henriette will be involved in the sprints during the nine-day championship.
Lou-Toy, whose personal best stands at 12.48 seconds, will take part in the 100m race and will be in action on day one – Saturday August 27 – in the preliminaries.
Seychelles 200m record holder Henriette will line up in the starting blocks for the 200m race and will compete on day 7 – Friday September 2.
Leeroy smashed Neddy Marie’s three-month-old 200m record of 21.60 seconds with a time of 21.42 seconds on Saturday August 16 at the just-ended Indian Ocean Island Games to win the silver medal behind Mauritian gold medallist Fabrice Coiffic (21.19 seconds).
