JD Thug dreams big |18 October 2013
He looks shy but Jadel Prosper, aka JD Thug, dreams big and has his eyes set on achieving something great.
The homegrown singer-songwriter will release his second album entitled Kit mon lespri lo mon rev on December 3 – the day he turns 24.
“It will be a double celebration for me, turning 24 and launching my second album. It has taken me one year to work on this project and I thank everyone who has played a role in making it a reality,” said JD Thug, who called his sophomore release a "big step" from his 2010 launch of the ‘Mixtape Volume 1’.
The album contains 20 songs including the title track Kit mon lespri lo mon rev. It will sell at R100 and JD Thug is also giving out a free video clip of this same song to everyone who buys a copy of his CD.
“I can't wait for everybody to hear the songs and watch the video," JD Thug said in an interview with Seychelles Nation this week. "With this album, I feel like I have accomplished what I wanted to sound like and say."
Among the other young singers who feature on the Kit mon lespri lo mon rev album are D Major, Yannick Hood, Teen Kid, STL (Selective Thug Lady) and Icon.
The album has been mixed and recorded by Jada Boss and Titus who are based at Cascade.
