FoodPro golf tournament: Richard D’Offay wins |26 December 2013

Richard D’Offay is the winner of the annual ‘Turkey Trot’ golf tournament sponsored by FoodPro and which was played on December 21 at the Seychelles golf club, Anse Aux Pins.  

This festive season tournament sees the winner take home vouchers for poultry products that include turkey, duck and chicken which he could cook for a Christmas meal!

At the end of the day, D’Offay, who plays off a handicap of 3 and who is in great form of late, emerged victorious with a net score of 37 points (1 under par).

Hot on his heels was veteran golfer Joe Andrade who came in with a net score of 36 points. Some three shots further back was Andrew Humphrys with 33 points and he took home the third prize.

Because of the festive season holidays, some golfers were not available to take part. However, a healthy turnout of some 24+ players teed up and a thoroughly enjoyable competition took place in the spirit of the season.
