Four Seasons Seychelles ranked among top 25 African hotels |01 February 2014

For the second year running, Four Seasons Seychelles has received a TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice award and has been honoured in its list of Top 25 Hotels in Africa.

The consumer poll ranked the resort as the top pick in Seychelles.

The category includes hotels and lodges in mainland Africa, as well as resorts in other islands such as Mauritius.

The resort’s general manager, Alex Porteous, said, “We are once again delighted to receive a Travellers’ Choice award, and to be recognised in the Top 25 Hotels in Africa, not least as we pay such attention to our TripAdvisor reviews. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests who take the time to leave their invaluable feedback on the site. We understand that our guests are our best critics, and we pay huge attention to their praise and critique, and constantly look for ways to customise our service and strive for excellence in everything we do. I am delighted that we have received this accolade, with such tremendous competition. This award is testament to the hard work, passion and dedication of every one of our staff in securing our position as the best in Seychelles.”

The resort on the mainland of Mahé has received numerous accolades in the past year, including  number six in Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards ‘The World’s Top 100’, as well as runner-up in their Overseas Holiday Hotels – The Middle East, Africa and the Indian Ocean and Overseas Hotel Spas sections, achieving second overall in both categories. The 6th place ranking in ‘The World's Top 100’ overall means the resort ranked above whole countries, including Italy which came in 7th place and Maldives at 10th.

Four Seasons awards also mean that it is the highest positioned hotel, resort or spa in Seychelles.

The white sandy beach at Petite Anse which runs along the length of the resort also currently features among the TripAdvisor’s 10th Best Beach in Africa, recognising it as a great beach to visit year-round.
