President appoints new Aids council chief executive |18 March 2014
President James Michel has appointed Dr Anne Gabriel as the new chief executive of the National Aids Council of Seychelles, in accordance with the National Aids Council of Seychelles (Amendment) Act, 2013, Section 21.
Her appointment is for a three-year period, effective from January 1, 2014.
In accordance with Section 6 (1) of the same act, President Michel has also appointed the board of directors of the National Aids Council of Seychelles for a three-year period effective from January 1, 2014.
The members are as follows: Peggy Vidot (chairperson), Dr Anne Gabriel (chief executive/member), Dr Jude Gedeon (member), Marie-Jenny Marie, Dr Jastin Bibi, Anna-Lisa Labiche, Marie-Nella Azemia, Bishop Denis Wiehe, Justin Freminot, Beryl Pillay, Fatoumata Sylla, Marco Francis and Dr Haresh Jivan (members).
