Athletics - Athletes to follow Confejes training camp ahead of Mauritius international meet |17 April 2014
A number of athletes will leave the country soon for Mauritius to take part in the Mauritius International Meet on April 26-27.
Ten athletes in total will represent Seychelles at the competition although they will not leave the country at the same time as some will follow a training programme before competing.
Neddy Marie left Seychelles yesterday as he will attend a training camp before he meets up with the other athletes for the competition. He is accompanied by coach Joseph Adam.
A group of four athletes will leave tomorrow as they attend a Confejes training camp in Mauritius before the competition begins. The athletes are Jean- Eve Roseline (100m and 200m), Sharry Dodin
(100m and 200m), Dyland Sicobo ( 100m and 200m) and Mohamed Harryba ( 110m hurdles). They will be accompanied by coach Joseph Volcy.
The final group of athletes will leave for Mauritius on April 23 to take part in the International Meet. They are Danny D’Souza (100m), Dean William (shot put and hammer), Leeroy Gamatis (high
jump), Joanne Lou-Toy (100m and 200m) and Yannick Payet (100m and 200m). They will be accompanied by coach Alexandre Aroche.
