Seychelles will be represented at the Association For International Sport for All (Tafisa) leadership course which will be held from September 5-11 in Amravati, India.

Williana Dubois and Dorothy Isidore are the two Seychellois who left the country yesterday to attend the course during which they will be getting more knowledge and training to better promote and organise sports activities locally.

Tafisa (The Association For International Sport for All) is the leading international Sport for All organisation with more than 260 members in over 150 countries. Tafisa works in close cooperation with international organisations such as the International Olympic Committee (IOC), United Nations (UN), United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) and the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE).

It aims for an active world by promoting sport for all and physical activity globally, and providing practical programmes and events, as well as networking opportunities and development support for its members around the world.

During the course, there will also be an international seminar on sports tourism, which the two Seychellois will also have the opportunity to attend.
