Paralympics: Disabled athletes compete in sports day |03 December 2014

The Paralympics Association Seychelles (Pas) organised its sports day on Saturday at the Roche Caïman sports complex and a good number of disabled athletes turned up to compete.

Athletes from Mahé and the inner islands took part in various sports including sitting volleyball, football, boccia, walking and running.
The following are the results of the day’s activities:

Sitting volleyball: 1. Inner Island, 2. Au Cap, 3. North East Point

Boccia: 1. Josianne Lesperance, 2. Andy Labrosse, 3. Nigel Larue

Football Mix: 1. Team A, 2. Team B

60m run youth (female): 1. Cindy Sinon (9.59 seconds), 2. Monica Barbé (10.19 seconds), 3. Maggy Estico (10.30 seconds)

100m run youth (female): 1. Nathalie Moïse (20.11 seconds), 2. Nicoletta Low-Hong (20.85 seconds), 3. Virginie Athanase (22.28 seconds)

100m run masters (male): 1. Mathieu Victor (15.09 seconds), 2. Leonard Morel (16.10 seconds), 3. Patrick Gerry (18.90 seconds)

100m run (female): 1. Angelle Fred (15.33 seconds), 2. Rosie Corallie (17.03 seconds), 3. Anabella Bethew (20.55 seconds)
