The trial of the accused in the death of 29-year-old George Robert resumed yesterday before the Supreme Court .
This after the prosecution completed its selection of the nine jurors required for the trial to start – a process which started last week but was not completed as the persons who presented for the selection then either know the accused or the deceased forcing Judge Mohan Burhan to adjourn the start of the trial.
It was yesterday afternoon that the lawyer for the prosecution, State counsel Alexandra Madeleine started her presentation on the case.
The accused in the case, a 51-year-old male, is being defended by lawyers Nichol Gabriel and Tony Juliette.
