Tennis - Moloko Restaurant fun day a success |04 March 2015

The Moloko Restaurant was the main sponsor of an extraordinary day at the Roche Caiman Tennis Courts on Sunday, where three events were held with the involvement of a good number of players.

Thirty-two players came to the tennis club at Roche Caïman in order to take part in the three-tournament event.

Tennis, beach tennis and table tennis were the three sports selected by the Seychelles Tennis Association (STA) for the day. Each match was up to 21 points and 16 teams were built after a draw between all the players.

This fun day event was a success for the players and Garry Albert, chairman of the STA, said that more events like this one will be organised during the year.

In tennis it was Sarah Rene and Frederic Canale who were the winners, while in table tennis, Anuj Sharma and Ramesh Thararaloman finished as the victors. In beach tennis, which is quite new to Seychelles, Damien Laporte and Shane Kleinshmidt were the winners.

There were three different winners, but the best team of the day was that of Damien and Shane with a better ranking in the three sports.

The STA would like to thank all those who took part in the tournaments, while special praise goes to Moloko for its contribution to the event.
