Badminton - Nine attend training camp in China |22 April 2015

Nine badminton players left the country yesterday for China where they will be attending a two-week training camp.
   
Among the nine players are four seniors and five juniors and they are being accompanied by coach Calix Francourt.

The senior players attending the training camp are Juliette Ah-Wan, Alisen Camille, Danielle Jupiter and Steve Malcouzane, while Noelisa Remie, Ginessa Ravinia, Stephany Henriette, Jakim Renaud and Fabian Gerry are the five juniors.

According to the Seychelles Badminton Association (SBA), the training forms part of the players’ preparation for the ninth Indian Ocean Island Games which will be held in Saint Denis, Reunion from August 1-9.

While the junior players and coach Francourt are expected back in the country on May 6, the seniors will return on May 16.
