The events are being hosted by the Republic of Indonesia and held from April 22-24 in the cities of Bandung and Jakarta respectively.
The commemorative events, under the theme ‘Strengthening South-south Cooperation to Promote World Peace and Prosperity’, will provide delegates with the right platform to exchange views, share experiences on the economic development in their respective regions and address both internal and external challenges.
Countries taking part will also have the opportunity to discuss ways to create and maintain peace in Asian and African regions as well as build cross-sectoral cooperation in the two continents.

Meanwhile, the NAASP is an initiative launched at the 50th anniversary commemoration of the ACC, in 2005, as a means of revitalising the long standing solidarity and spirit of cooperation between Asian and African countries.
From Indonesia, the Vice-President will proceed on an official visit to the People’s Republic of China at the invitation of the Chinese government. He will be accompanied by the Ambassador of the Republic of Seychelles to the People’s Republic of China, Philippe Le Gall.
