Global Supply Centre donates laptops to children’s foundation |18 July 2015
Global Supply Centre (GSC) has donated three brand new Lenovo laptops to the Seychelles Children’s Foundation (SCF) to support the foundation’s initiatives in their quest to safeguard the interest of the children of Seychelles.
Global Supply, a prominent company in Seychelles in the supply and demand of products to the hospitality, construction and retail industries, has always endeavoured to support those most vulnerable in the society.
Global Supply has a keen interest in the well-being and development of the children of Seychelles,
Srikanth Shanthikumar, the finance controller of Global Supply Centre, said education is the key to the development of the children of Seychelles and the laptops will enable SCF to provide educational programmes to the children of the homes they are catering for.
He added that GSC supports the cause and mission of SCF.
He said GSC always supports the needy, especially the children, and it wants to ensure a bright future for the children in our society.
The laptops were received by Wavel Woodcock, the project & communication manager of SCF.
Mr Woodcock said the donation of laptops is timely, especially as the SCF is seeking sponsorship to build an educational centre at the President’s Village, which caters for over 60 kids.
He welcomed other businesses to follow suit and help support SCF initiatives, projects, homes and other children’s related programmes.
