August 22 meeting cancelled

The Seychelles Military Retired Servicemen Association (SMRSA) has announced that it has cancelled indefinitely the meeting which was to be held on August 22, 2015.

“The cancellation is necessary as the association is still in the process of registering and recruiting members and as per the Rules of the Association only members will be eligible to vote at a general meeting,” says a communiqué from the SMRSA committee.

The association would like to inform all ex-servicemen and women that its existing committee is engaging in negotiation with the government through the SPDF regarding payment of compensation for all ex-servicemen and women who served in the SPDF prior to 2007.
