Clementina Agricole finishes 26th

Sportswoman of the Year Clementina Agricole has finished in 26th position overall with a total of 191kg in the women’s 63kg weight class at the ongoing World Weightlifting Championships in Houston, United States of America.

She managed to lift 81kg in snatch at the third attempt and her best effort in clean-and-jerk was 110kg for a total of 191kg to settle for 26th position out of 36 lifters.

Chinese Wei Deng won the gold medal with a total lift of 259kg (113kg in snatch and 146kg in clean-and-jerk) and she was followed in second and third places by Russian Tima Turieva with 248kg (112kg in snatch and 136kg in clean-and-jerk) and Korean Hyo Sim Choe with 243kg (104kg in snatch and 139kg in clean-and-jerk).
