President Michel sends condolences to Belgian PM
On behalf of the government and people of Seychelles, President James Michel has sent a message of condolence to the Prime Minister of Belgium, Charles Michel, following explosions at Zaventem Airport and the Maalbeek Metro Station in Brussels which have claimed many lives.
“We strongly condemn these cowardly acts of terror and we remain convinced that justice will prevail and the perpetrators will be apprehended and answer for the crimes,” said President Michel in his message.
President Michel also noted that the victims will be in the thoughts and prayers of the Seychellois and that he was confident of the resilience of the Belgian people to emerge stronger from this tragedy.
