Delorie stays on as bodybuilding boss |29 March 2016

Regis Delorie will remain as chairman of the Seychelles Bodybuilding Federation (SBBF) after he was re-elected into the post on Saturday.

Delorie has really impressed with his desire to bring bodybuilding back to the forefront of Seychelles sports, even managing to get two of his athletes to be among the finalists for the Sportsman of the Year award in 2014.

The bodybuilding community has shown faith in him and that has earned him a second mandate at the head of the table, meaning he will be governing the federation for another two years.

He is joined on the executive committee by Paul Hoareau as secretary, Roy Collin as treasurer and the other members of the federation are Golbert Nicette, Kishnan Louise and Joe Gabriel.

It took the bodybuilding community three meetings to elect a new executive committee after the first two meetings could not go on as there was no quorum. Also Delorie had said he would not run for chairman.
