Youth Festival 2016 set for December 12-15 |23 August 2016
The 17th Youth Festival will this year be held from December 12 to 15.
The festival, usually celebrated between end of August to early September, has been scheduled for a later date this year because of the upcoming parliamentary election.
All competitions such as the Youth Buzz and ‘Sesel Enspir Mwan’ which form part of the Youth Festival celebrations will be launched in due course.
The aim of the Youth Festival is to give the youths of Seychelles an added opportunity to meet new and old friends, share their knowledge and skills as well as harmoniously take part in various education, civic, entrepreneurial, spiritual, cultural, sports and recreational activities while at the same time showcasing their talents in these various fields.
It is also a time to openly and constructively discuss issues and trends affecting the overall wellbeing of the youths.
