Eight Seychellois boxers are to leave the country on Sunday December 4 for Madagascar where they will attend a training camp and take part in two competitions.
Of the eight boxers, seven fall in the elite category and they are Keddy Agnes (91+kg), Kitson Julie (91kg), Nelson Molle (81kg), Lorenzo Bonne (69kg), Edrian Volcère (64kg), Andrique Allisop (60kg) and Alexon Prudence (56kg), while Fabio Roselie (56kg) is a junior fighter.

In January this year, the Seychelles Boxing Federation signed a memorandum of understanding with the Malagasy Boxing Federation for exchange of training camps and competitions in preparation for the Indian Ocean Island Games in Mauritius in 2019.
The local boxers will join their Malagasy counterparts in camp on December 5, 6, 8 and 9. They will also take part in two competitions – on December 7 at 3pm at the covered Gymnase Ankorondrano in Antananarivo and on December 10 in the town centre.
Meanwhile, the final mini-league competition for this year will be held on December 10 and the prize-giving ceremony is on December 17 at 10am at the Boxing Gym at the NSC Hall.
