‘Be humble enough to seek for help’

Vanette James has always had a passion for hairdressing since she was small. After completing secondary school at English River, she went on to further her studies in the hairdressing field where she obtained a certificate and diploma in cut and brush, modern perming, findings on hair scalp, hair colour and fashion, up to date cutting, styling, weaving and hair piece through the Amit School of Hairdressing.

Our young entrepreneur currently offers mobile services directly at the homes of clients, and this also includes special occasions such as weddings, birthdays etc... Vanette has established a very good client base as customer satisfaction is her top priority.

Vanette is 29 years old and comes from a family of two sisters and five brothers. She is calm and friendly in nature, thus an easy person to talk to and be around with. She also enjoys going out and meeting new people.

Her advice to youths who aspire to start their business is “be humble enough to seek help from those at our disposition such as youth workers and SNYC so that you can have a prosperous future”.
