Rejoice the Christmas spirit with new albums |22 December 2016

Most of us associate Christmas with a time for giving, surrounded by loved ones and spending quality time together.

It is that time of year again. December has come and with it all the joys of Christmas, and to get into the Christmas spirit, you have on the shelves of music stores around the country nine new albums of Christmas songs.

For many people, Christmas songs are an important component to mark Christmas and New Year; many songs have interesting stories about Christmas in our small island. With those new collections – some of which have been re-compiled or re-mastered – many will find it soothing to sit back and relax with those sweet melodies.

Seychelles NATION decided to research the entire new Christmas collections on sale in outlets, all with the hope of bringing some Christmas festivity to you.

The titles of one of the many albums are 1 Pou Ou featuring Elijah, Swaggtunes, Dareal Thing; Seleksyon Nwel ek Lannen; Lakadans Nwel ek Lannen; Konpilasyon Cocktail Nwel ek Lannen; Flanbwayan in Fleri.

As usual, famous names in the local industry are sharing some Christmas spirit by coming up with new albums for this festive season.

We have Joseph Sinon, Antoinette Dodin and Marcel who have banded together to bring you an album entitled Lafet. Raymond Libanotis also has decided to bring some cheers with an album entitled Nwel ek Lannen avek Ton Raymond.

We have also Saturn Band who have come up with Best Hits of Christmas and New Year.

All those artists wanted to bring the best out of themselves for this festive season.
