TechnoGuard Systems and MMASGA sign sponsorship deal |15 February 2017

Local security systems firm TechnoGuard Systems and the Mixed Martial Arts & Submission Grappling Association of Seychelles (MMASGA) have signed a sponsorship deal that would involve regular contributions being made from TechnoGuard to the association, for the purpose of purchasing much needed training equipment, organisation of and involvement in competitions and events and for the funding of other day to day expenses of the association.

TechnoGuard Systems is a safety and security firm specialising in Intrusion Detection Systems as well as Fire Alert & Evacuation Systems and also offers services in CCTV (Surveillance) Systems, Access Control & Attendance Management Systems, Gate Motors, Fire Fighting Equipment and Vaults & Safes. In fact, the firm’s services include the design, supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of all those systems and was represented during the ceremony by its general manager Daniel Mondon.

On the other hand, represented by its chairman Adrian Nanty, the association is responsible for the promotion and development of the sports of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and Submission Grappling which includes aspects such as Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ).

The agreement was signed on February 4 at the TechnoGuard office at the Providence Industrial Estate, where the TechnoGuard representative stated; “Although we are a team of 7 staff, our business is committed to two things which are firstly to provide a high quality service to our customers and secondly to do whatever we can to give back to the community and on that note, we have always supported this association in several ways even before signing this agreement. However, we felt it would be an important step to reinforce our support by signing this agreement and hopefully be able to make some positive impacts in the lives of their athletes and members.”

Chairman Nanty said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that has been given to us by TechnoGuard so far and look forward to putting these contributions to good use. As much as possible we also need to ensure that the agreement is mutually beneficial and have also aimed to offer several opportunities to TechnoGuard through this agreement including branding opportunities as well as discounted rates for training and so on.  These contributions will surely play an important role in enabling the association to grow and will make available new opportunities for training and competition for the local athletes and for that we are very thankful.”
