Island Tuning Car show this Saturday |03 August 2017
Many car fanatics are preparing for the biggest car show this Saturday.
The Island Tuning Car show is the most anticipated event for this weekend, and it will take place at the NSC Hall, Roche Caïman.
Some 50 car fanatics have already registered for the show, where they will show off their modified cars and bikes.
The event is being organised under the banner ‘Ride N Drive’ in collaboration with the Road Safety Committee and car enthusiasts have until tomorrow afternoon to formally register their vehicle for free, to take part in the car show.
One of the organisers Jeff Barallon stated that people were asking for another car show, to showcase their modified ride.
“We try to organise a car show every year, and it always attracts a good crowd. This year there will be a lot of surprises; cars that have not been seen on the street will also be present. Also we will have different prizes, such as an overall prize for the best car which is a trip to Dubai, music competition and visual among others,” he said.
Tickets are already on sale at the usual outlets at R50 for children aged 6-12, and R100 for 12 years and older.
DJ Fiesta will entertain the crowd in an after party until late in the afternoon.
