UAE Xchange donates to Foyer de La Solitude orphanage |26 October 2017
Five young girls living at the Foyer de La Solitude orphanage have received a generous donation of food from UAE Xchange.
The donation forms part of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) to give back to the community and to also celebrate its 37th anniversary worldwide.
The items comprising milk, juice, toilet paper among others were donated in a small ceremony on Tuesday morning at the foyer.
It was the country head of UAE Xchange, Bhavesh Goswami, who handed over the donation to the sister in charge of the foyer Sister Suzanne.
Mr Goswami stated that such donation forms part of the firm’s CSR to give back to the community.
“UAE Xchange is celebrating its 37th anniversary, so we wanted to give back to the community, and what better way to contribute to the children at the orphanage. Every year we give back to the community, and by doing such generous acts, we also contribute to keeping the kids healthy,” he said.
Thanking UAE Xchange for the donation, Sister Suzanne said that the orphanage always welcomes such noble gestures.
“We would like to thank UAE Xchange for the kindness it has shown, by providing the necessary items for the children at the orphanage,” she said.
UAE Xchange in Seychelles was established in the year 2011 and offers multiple financial services including money transfer, foreign exchange (forex) and bill payments.
