SCCI members petition for special general meeting |23 January 2018

Forty-nine paid up members of the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCC) have signed a petition asking for a special general meeting as per section 4.3.1 of the constitution of the SCCI.

In the petition letter dated January 22, 2018 and sent to the acting chairman of the SCCI yesterday afternoon, the members requested him to call a special general meeting within seven days as stipulated by the constitution of the chamber.

The agenda for the special general meeting shall be to elect a chairperson for the SCCI as the position remains vacant since the removal of the elected chairman Wilson Nancy from office in mid-2017.
