Durantha Brothers remain undefeated

Featured in the four matches on last weekend’s programme at the Palais des Sports, league leaders Durantha Brothers grabbed yet another win, this time with a dominating performance against Anse Royale Brothers.
Durantha Brothers, who had won their previous match against AC Brothers 30-29, went into their third match of the season hoping to keep their winning streak alive.
Anse Royale Brothers on the other hand were playing their first official match of the season, after not turning up for their first match and winning by walkover in the second game.
Lack of action may just have caused them to lose their third match, facing off against a worthy opponent, where Durantha Brothers ended up dominating in an outright overwhelming match.
The match ended on a spectacular 71-12 score in Durantha Brothers’ favour who showed their dominance throughout the match.
It is clear that the league title is the main focus for Durantha Brothers who present a real challenge for their opponents.
The men’s league also includes Super 8 and AC Brothers, who are also rivals. On Saturday, both teams displayed a high level of skills, concluding their league encounter on a 38-38 draw.
In the women’s league, Pearls registered their first win of the season with a 22-8 victory over Anse Royale Sisters.
In the other match, Au Cap Sisters once again imposed their dominance to maintain top spot on the table by defeating MF Storm 36-17 for their second win of the season.
Coaching both Au Cap Sisters and Durantha Brothers, Freddy Annette is on the right path to achieve his goal of winning both the men’s and women’s titles.
