Gospel music concert to raise funds for Seychelles Bible Society |28 July 2018
The Seychelles Bible Society, in association with various Church choirs and groups, will present a spiritual concert of gospel music and songs to raise funds for the work of the Bible Society.
The Bible Society is now embarking on community-based projects with the aim of reaching our youths and vulnerable people in our society through projects to tackle drugs and substance abuse, trauma healing among other social ills.
The society is also working on producing an audio of the New Testament in Kreol Seselwa.
The theme for the concert is “In Jesus Christ Alone We Have Our Hope”.
The concert will take place on Sunday August 5, 2018 starting at 3pm at St Paul’s Cathedral in Victoria and will include the participation of choirs from the following Churches: Anglican, Roman Catholic, Seventh-Day Adventist, Pentecostal Assembly as well as other Christian groups and individuals.
The Bible Society is inviting members of the public to come and enjoy the concert and to contribute generously towards the collection which will be taken during the event.

There will be available on display the Bible Society’s publications, Bibles, Christian-related books and various items before and after the concert, which will also be on sale.
