Basketball Heat’s Timmy Adam, HotShots’ Sheriffa Agathine best players |27 November 2017

Beau Vallon Heat’s Timmy Adam and HotShots’ Sheriffa Agathine are the best male and female senior basketball players for the year 2017, while Khris Bouchereau and Tasha Barbé are the best young male and female players.

Kenyan international Linet Atieno Obonyo from Mont Fleuri and Malagasy international player Malagasy Andry Rakotoarisoa Zafintsalama ‘Danz’ of Premium Cobras are the best female and male foreign players. Ronny Jules from Bel Ombre Marlins is the best local player in the men’s second division.

The names of the best of the best for the year were revealed during the cups presentation ceremony at the end of the Seychelles Basketball Federation (SBF) Cup 2017 final at the Palais des Sports on Saturday.

The SBF also announced the best officials and coaches for the year 2017. Linda Dugasse is the best official while Atila Cadence is the best referee. The most motivated official is Bernadette Songor. Dominic Pillay and Tony Juliette are the best male and female basketball coaches in 2017.
