Mr Georges Tirant is the chairperson of the new board of the Agency for Social Protection
Georges Tirant has been appointed chairperson of the new board of the Agency for Social Protection.
President Wavel Ramkalawan announced the appointment of the new board of the Agency for Social Protection (ASP) yesterday.
The functions of the Agency for Social Protection is to provide social welfare assistance to persons qualifying for state financial assistance
The other board members are Pedro Pierre, Letimie Dookley, Julius Joubert, Beryl Laboudallon, Gerard Gill and Nissa Thompson.
The board members have been appointed for a three-year period.
The President has also thanked the outgoing board members for their invaluable contributions made to the ASP during their period of tenure in office.
