Next Step continues with its voluntary activities amid pandemic |21 September 2021

Members of the Next Step group are continuing with their voluntary activities and health awareness campaigns even amid the pandemic.

The group recently painted a statue located outside of the La Misère primary school and a cross at the Baie Lazare cemetery.

Next Step’s leader, Sonny Dogley, noted that the goup’s next voluntary work will be at Anse Boileau although the group is encountering some delays in that regards.

“We have been told not to do so now because of the beehives that are on the cross,” said Mr Dogley.

The group participated in the Clean Up the World Campaign over the weekend and will also take part in the International Day of Peace which is to be observed tomorrow, September 21.

Due to Covid-19, only two of the four group members have taken part in its most recent activities but Mr Dogley remarked that the remaining two will be involved in the upcoming activities.

The Next Step group extends its gratitude to all those who have and are still assisting them in their voluntary works.
