Timely sponsor for karting final

The presentation ceremony

As the Seychelles Karting Association gears up for its final event of the season on Sunday November 14, 2021, a major boost was given to the sport on Sunday morning by Liqui Moly Seychelles’ agent CSA Trading.

Their representatives at CSA Trading, Samantha Albert donated to the association a tent for the officials, kart lubricants and other promotional items to be used at the coming weekend’s event and beyond.

She expressed the company’s will to support sports in Seychelles especially where the youths benefit from programmes as those run by the Seychelles Karting Association (SKA).

SKA chairperson Liza Rene-Cosgrow expressed gratitude to the company for these well-needed items which would go a long way in assisting the association as it begins plans for another new and longer 2022 season.

The SKA karts are all lubricated with the company’s products which have helped in keeping maintenance costs low. Both parties expressed willingness to work together to promote the sport and to bring it to a bigger and better standard.

Meanwhile, the season finale round 8 LIQUI MOLY Super finals will be held on Sunday November 14, 2021 at the Champions Park Raceway, Roche Caïman. The Intermediates, Juniors and Cadets will race for the championship from 8.30am. Race day will follow a qualifying session, a pre-final and the climax end with the Super Final. The day will close with the end-of-year annual prize-giving ceremony.

With Covid-19 standard operating procedures still being enforced, the SKA is only allowing competitors and members at the final.

Karting will reopen for the new 2022 season with the annual general meeting scheduled for Saturday January 22.

Classes for 2022 are already being prepared, while newcomers who wish to join this sport will be advised in early January via this media as to when the registrations will begin, and how.
