Seychelles wins gold award for best sustainable district interior design
Seychelles has won the gold award at the Dubai Expo 2020 for best sustainable district interior design of the pavilion.
The silver award was won by Cambodia, while Zimbabwe took the bronze.
At the Dubai Expo 2020, Seychelles featured in the sustainability pavilion of the world event under the theme ‘Preserve Nature’.
Originally scheduled for October 2020, the Dubai Expo 2020 was postponed due to the Covid-19 global pandemic. It was opened on October 1, 2021 and will run until today, March 31, 2022.
The world’s biggest fair which draws to a close today has staged more than 30,000 events in 180 days across 96 locations.
Today’s event is expected to be a grand finale as the mega global event recorded more than one million visits last Friday, Saturday and Sunday as visitors were all set to say their final goodbyes to what has been a spectacular six months.
The vet will take place at the iconic Al Wasl Plaza, home to the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface.
