  Nouvobanq chief Ahmad Saeed to retire |06 April 2022

The board of Nouvobanq has announced that it has accepted the retirement

of Ahmad Saeed from the position of chief executive of Nouvobanq with effect from June 30, 2022.

Mr Saeed will therefore be staying with Nouvobanq for the next three months before retiring.

The board has also announced that the new CEO of Nouvobanq, subject to regulatory approval, will be Christophe Edmond, formerly the First Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Seychelles.

Mr Edmond has extensive banking experience and will provide a sound

succession to Mr Saeed with effect from July 1, 2022, subject to regulatory

approval.

The board has recorded its appreciation for all that Mr Saeed has done in building up and running Nouvobanq over many years.

He has led the commercial bank to its current market leading position, creating a strong financial institution and fostering competition in the industry.

The board wishes Mr Saeed all the very best on his retirement.
