Spiritual leaders of Pentecostal Assemblies of Seychelles empowered |31 August 2019

A group of 20 spiritual leaders from the Pentecostal Assemblies of Seychelles recently received their diplomas in Transformational Church Leadership from the School of Theology of the Pan African Christian University of Nairobi, Kenya.
This was during a graduation ceremony and it was the first of its kind ever to be held in Seychelles. The course was conducted here by senior pastors of the Pentecostal Assemblies of Seychelles – Reverend Paul, Reverend Hermitte and Reverend Freminot – and a few visiting lecturers from the Pan African Christian (PAC) University.
The Diploma consisted of three modules of 21 books to be completed in three years.
The 20 graduates comprise students from four denominations. Dr Paul Khols and his wife, accompanied by Abigael Demesi, the coordinator of the Transformational Church Leadership (TCL) programme, presented certificates to the successful graduates who have been encouraged to pursue a BA in TCL.
The graduation ceremony was followed the day after by the ordination of six pastors – five of whom are from the Pentecostal Assemblies of Seychelles, namely Vincent Alcindor, George Gerry, Gilbert Poris, Selvain Cesar and Joel Rachel, while Alma Dodin is from the Living Rock Church.
A large number of believers, friends and guests were present to witness the two important and memorable events.
The ordination ceremony began with a wonderful time of praise and worship followed by a sermon by Reverend Lynn Khols. She encouraged the pastors to be the elder brothers to their flocks. Dr Paul Khols led the pastors through their vows whilst Reverend Freminot was the one who guided them through the code of ethics.
In the same ceremony, Lynda Elizabeth was officially recognised as a pastor and given her licence to minister, while Yves Aglae received his licence to serve as deacon.
The following are some souvenir photos of the two events.
