SFA to get new chief executive |01 October 2022

The Seychelles Fishing Authority (SFA) will soon get a new chief executive now that the outgoing one, Nichol Elizabeth, has decided not to seek renewal of his contract.

Confirming the news yesterday, the Office of the Minister for Fisheries and Blue Economy, parent ministry of the SFA, said that Mr Elizabeth reached the end of his two-year contract with the SFA on August 31, 2022 but has decided not to seek a renewal of his contract.

“As soon as practicable, the SFA will be advertising for a replacement for

the post of CEO,” says a press release from the ministry.

“Meanwhile, internal arrangements are being finalised to ensure the smooth management of the Authority,” adds the press release.
