Reach Out – Anti-Bullying Week

Baie Lazare Primary - Students promoting the value of Respect

‘If we challenge it, we can change it’

Reach Out – Anti-Bullying Week was commemorated in many schools around the country and the accompanying pictures show the activities that some schools organised.

One of the main events of the week was the Reach Out to stop bullying workshop with school management members. The workshop highlighted the different education and prevention strategies, action plans, support programmes and campaigns in place in both primary and secondary schools in Seychelles.

Our strong message for this week was: “If we challenge it, we can change it”. And it starts by reaching out. The Anti-Bullying oversight committee of the Ministry of Education plans to organise more activities next year to continue promoting the theme and to support schools with their Anti-Bullying operational procedures and guidelines.
