Ezy D and friends organise toy drive and Christmas show

Well-known entertainer Ezy D will this evening be holding his customary Christmas toy drive, whereby members of the public are being invited to make donations towards families and children in need.

Organised in collaboration with the ‘Make a Child Smile’ foundation and Dareal Thing Recordz, the team will be putting on grand entertainment show at the National History Museum from 6pm to midnight tonight, whereby a number of artists will animate the show to definitely get all passersby and the audience in the true Christmas spirit.

The public are being invited to donate brand new toys, clothing, food and if available certain household items of use to families to be donated to five families in need, who have been identified by their respective district authorities. Although the team are calling out for brand new toys, second hand items in good condition are also being accepted.

Thus far, donations have been pouring in confirmed a member of Ezy D’s team, including from a number of families who themselves do not have much. A number of sponsors have also donated food items and monetary donations towards the cause.

Items donated during this evening’s event are to be distributed to the families, the majority of whom are located on Mahe, while another one is located on Praslin on Christmas Day by the organising team, and Ezy D himself, as was the case in previous years.
