Georges Robert is the new Ombudsman following the recommendation of the Constitutional Appointments Authority (CAA).
Mr Robert was officially appointed by President Wavel Ramkalawan, and sworn in at State House yesterday morning. He has 13 years of experience as an Attorney at-Law, and was serving as the Legal Director of the Seychelles Human Rights Commission, prior to his appointment as Ombudsman.
