SFRSA recognises long-serving staff, promotes officers, commissions two fire engines
To commemorate International Firefighters’ Day, observed annually on May 4, the Seychelles Fire and Rescue Services Agency held a special event to honour long-serving staff members, announce recent promotions, and commission two new fire engines. Certificates were also presented to officers who completed various training programmes.
International Firefighters’ Day is an opportunity for communities worldwide to recognise and honour the sacrifices firefighters make to ensure the safety of people, property, and the environment. The event, held at the SFRSA headquarters on Latanier Road, New Port, Victoria, was attended by firefighters and other stakeholders.
