Seychelles, China Shenyang sign MoU to introduce steel frame housing project   |03 May 2025

Seychelles’ lands and housing ministry and China Shenyang Corporation yesterday signed a memorandum of understanding marking the launch of a pilot housing project that will introduce steel frame construction for affordable housing in Seychelles, making it the first of its kind in the country.

The agreement was signed by principal secretary for Housing, Jude Florentine and general manager for China Shenyang Corporation, Li Jianpeng, at the minister's conference room, Independence House. This was in the presence of Land and Housing Minister Billy Rangasamy.
