India, Seychelles celebrate arrival of INS Sunayna (IOS Sagar) and IASV Triveni

The High Commission of India in Seychelles hosted a reception at Savoy Resort & Spa last Friday to mark the arrival of the Indian Naval Ship INS Sunayna, sailing under the distinguished banner of the Indian Ocean Ship (IOS) Sagar initiative, and to celebrate a series of growing defence collaborations between India and Seychelles.

The event brought together key dignitaries including Speaker of the National Assembly Roger Mancienne, leader of the opposition Sebastien Pillay, chief of Defence Forces Major General Michael Rosette, deputy chief of defence forces, members of the diplomatic corps, and senior military personnel from India and Seychelles. Also in attendance were the commanding officer and crew of INS Sunayna and the all-women crew of the Indian Armed Forces Sailing Vessel (IASV) Triveni. All crew members of INS Sunayna (Sagar) participated in a reception before the official event.
