‘Team Seychelles showed determination, discipline, sacrifices and talents’
Through the successful hosting of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association Beach Soccer World Cup 2025, Seychelles made history for being one of the smallest countries in the world to organise such a big international event, Minister for Youth, Sports and Family, Celine Zialor, has said.
She made the statement yesterday before the National Assembly, reminding the members that it was not the first time that Seychelles hosted a big international event, after successfully organising the FINA World Junior Open Water Swimming Championships in 2022, where more than 150 athletes from over 50 countries competed.
