The SBF hits back as HotShots deny receiving warning letters
Right at the beginning of the second round of the national leagues, new scandals have already hit local basketball as the sport’s local governing body, the Seychelles Basketball Federation (SBF) and Anse Boileau-based women’s club HotShots are involved in a ‘cat and mouse’ game, following an alleged disciplinary incident which occurred in March, during the first round of the league.
According to the SBF, the incident in question happened on March 15, 2025 during a match between Drifters and Beau Vallon Heat, whereby a group of HotShots players displayed some bad behaviour, resulting into four strong warnings and a ban.
