In a significant step towards enhancing the quality of education in Seychelles, the British High Commission in Seychelles, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, has launched an education forum aimed at strengthening educational leadership and promoting collaboration between local and international educators.
Held at the Double Tree by Hilton Allamanda yesterday, the forum brought together teachers, education leaders, and policy makers for a dynamic exchange of ideas and practices.
Present were the Education Minister, Dr. Justin Valentin, the British High Commissioner to Seychelles, Jeffrey Glekin, head teachers and educators from schools on Mahé.
In his opening remarks Minister Valentin shared that the forum aligns with the ministry’s strategies of making schools an effective learning ground by bringing teachers together from different settings, countries and community to bring out different values.
